I have never met
A perfect person
Though once I saw
A Blue Heron
Delusion is that
We are separate things
Maginificent Heron
Brilliant blue wings
The universe is and always
Has been in orderly flow
Swimming in a creek
That heron I got to know
It stood on one leg
Magnificent to meet
It mattered to neither
How many feet
In that moment I ceased
To be and became
All that could be seen
And beyond what I could name
Ahh now was the perfect
Now I was whole yet not at all
That boy in that wheelchair
He is just as full just as tall
